I’ve got a question for our resident airplane experts. The B-2 has a crew of 2. Above the pilots seats you can see lines marking the hatches that blow off to facilitate ejection. On the starboard side about even with the inlet there is a third set of markings that appear similar to the ejection hatch markings. Does anyone know what that is for?

Doesn't the b2 have a head? Could be a toilet ejector seat?

That could get messy.

I'm not sure but it might be the door for the inflight refueling boom

Not refueling. That is on the centerline where you see what resembles an outlined letter H.

On second thought, you may be right. I'm trying to look at this on my phone. I'll look closer when I get home.

That is the EMACEP, or Emergency Marital Aid Countermeasure Ejection Port. During missile lock the B-2 jettisons 500lb of RR-144 24” dildos as a defense against incoming missiles.

You were right the first time. The refueling port is on the centerline there. That was my first though, too.

Anything looks correct in a military connection when expressed as an acronym.

Thats exactly what it is

It is an emergency exit hatch. The normal access on the plane is from below. If the plane lands gear up, that exit is unusable, so there is one on the top.

That makes more sense than an ejection toilet, even if it is less interesting.

Yup, the markings are for where to cut for rescue. The RAM (radar absorbent material) covers the hatch, so just opening it will cost tens of thousands of dollars.
